Enrollment Requirements

In order for your child to qualify for enrollment in Kiddie College, he/she must be between the ages of 18 months and 12 years. Parents or guardians must complete the following forms prior to enrollment:

  • Pre-admission enrollment
  • History form
  • Emergency medical treatment form
  • Enrollment agreement

Grade school children require these additional forms:

  • Transportation agreement form

For children 18 months to 5 years of age, a physician must complete a medical report before enrollment is complete. A re-examination is required annually thereafter.

The state of Alabama requires children to be immunized against:

  • Polio
  • Diphtheria
  • Tetanus
  • Pertussia
  • Measles
  • Hib
  • Chicken Pox
  • Rubella

An original Alabama certificate of immunization is required for enrollment and can be obtained from the Autauga County Health Department or from your family doctor.

School Hours

6:15 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Kiddie College is open approximately 12 hours each day.
However, children should stay no longer than 9 1/2 to 10 hours per day.

 

Kiddie College will be open half a day on Christmas Eve (should it fall on a week day) and closed the following holidays:
  • New Year's Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and
  • Christmas Day

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be issued during the school term. The schedule of progress reporting varies according to your child's age:

  • Toddlers, 2, 3 and 4 year olds will receive daily reports year-round
    to keep you informed of your child's day
  • Preschool progress reports will be sent home every 9 weeks

Progress reports must be signed and returned each grading period. The reports issued in May are yours to keep. If a progress report needs replacing, a fee of $2.00 will be charged.
